Shengqi Building is located in the north of Huayan, north of the building. The building is on two floors. It is on the top of the mountain and has a brick-and-wood structure. It faces south and faces 5, with a width of 5 and a depth of 11 feet. According to legend, Zhu Yuanzhang and Zhongshan Wang Xuda often play chess here. Once, Xu Da skillfully put the pieces in the "Long live". Although Zhu Yuanzhang lost the game, he was very happy. He rewarded the building with Mou Lake and gave it the name of “Shengqilou”. During the Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty, Shengqi Tower was destroyed by fire. In the tenth year of Tongzhi (1871), Zeng Guofan presided over the restoration of Shengqi Building on the original site. According to legend, the original building amount is Zhu Yuanzhang's pro-title. Today, the word "Shengqilou" on the threshold is the late Qing Dynasty scholar, the famous minister of Zhongxing, and the then secretary of Jiangning Buzheng Mei Qizhao.
Shengqi Building is now a cultural relics protection unit in Nanjing.
