Eye Pleasing Pavilion, located on the gate of Xishui Pass (east side of Mochou Lake), was built by Ding Wei of Song Dynasty. Li Bai, Lu You and Xin Qiji once stood here to watch scenery, compose poems and write lyrics. Xin Qiji mounted this pavilion for three times, and completed Water Dragon Chant · Mounting Eye Pleasing Pavilion of Jiankang. Su Dongpo expressed, "Ancient Jinling city arouses the thinking of returning home. I accompany you to visit this land of rise and fall; the light wind and drizzling rain are full of pain of separation. The ferry is surrounded by green grass; elders are distressed at parting, wanting to persuade you to stay." It was reconstructed at the east bank of Mochou Lake in 2018.
