China-Japan Friendship Iris Garden, located at the north area of park and covering an area of about 7000m2, was constructed in 1994. It is a special garden for planting Japanese irises. From the site selection, planning and design to the planting and maintenance of flowers, the park has been carefully guided by Japanese friends, and all kinds of buildings in the park are also built according to Japanese style. Nearly about 100 varieties like iris sibirica, iris laevigata, and yellow flag native to Japan and Siberia were introduced into the garden. In May and June every year, it's the time for flowers to bloom; all kinds of flowers in the garden contend to blossom, just like colorful butterflies flying, which shows a scene full of vitality.
